Acorn Montessori School

Acorn Montessori School was set up within the grounds of Cliffoney National School, County Sligo in November 2012. We offer a Morning supervision service, a Sessional Montessori Pre-school and an after-school homework club and supervision facility.

The specific goals for the children who attend the Montessori school are to develop a positive attitude toward school and learning; to develop a sense of high self-esteem; to build a habit of concentration for lifelong study skills; to develop and foster an abiding curiosity; to foster inner discipline and a sense of order.
